A feature film based on the Cartoon Network hit Adventure Time is in development at Warner Bros., according to Deadline. The film will be produced by Chris McKay, who created Robot Chicken and exec produced The Lego Movie, and Roy Lee, who produced The Lego Movie and is producing The Lego Batman Movie.
Series creator Pendleton Ward will be involved in writing and producing the film version, according to the report.
Adventure Time has been a big merch driver in both comics (BOOM! Studios, see "Top 10 Kids and Tweens GN Properties") and games (Adventure Time Card Wars, see "Top 10 Hobby Channel Dice/Card Game--Fall 2014"), as well as a host of other categories.
