At Toy Fair 2015, ICv2 spoke with Bluefin Hobby Sales Representative Dylan Mills about current and upcoming licensed Sailor Moon import products.
Tamashii Nations’ S.H.Figuarts dolls mimic the range of motion of the human body, and stand roughly 14 cm tall. Many dolls come with different hands and faces. Bluefin began releasing the figures last year. "We finished the core five Sailor Scouts, now we’re moving to the exterior characters," Mills said. "This year we’re seeing the highly anticipated Tuxedo Mask figure." The Tuxedo Mask figure is planned for May release and has MSRP of $42.99. Also on display were preview figures of Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon ($34.99), Sailor Saturn ($43.99), Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus.
Tamashii Nations’ PROPLICA line includes several prop replicas from Sailor Moon, including the Moonstick ($93.99) and Crystal Star $67.99). The Cutie Moon Rod ($99.99) was released last year and sold out.
Pullip added Sailor Moon to its line of high-end collectible fashion dolls as part of the Sailor Moon’s 20th Anniversary celebration in 2012. The dolls began releasing in the U.S. last year. The dolls are approximately 12" tall with articulated bodies and multiple accessories.
