Blue Orange Games has announced a new European Collection line, which will include complex "gamer" games intended for the hobby and specialty store market.  The line will include seven new titles this spring, as well as rebranding of five existing games.

"We are excited to bring the best ‘gamer’ games from Europe through our Blue Orange Europe product line with games from famous game designers such as Seiji Kanai, Bruno Cathala, Bruno Faidutti, and Charles Chevallier," said Blue Orange ‘s VP of Sales and Marketing Martin Marechal.  "Last year, we tested the waters by bringing over a few of the games from Blue Orange Europe such as Battle Sheep, Niya and BraveRats.  When we saw how overwhelmingly positive the response was for these games, we decided to bring other games to expand further, and offer even more games in this spirit."

Dragon Run is designed by Bruno Cathala (Sengi, Five Tribes) and Ludovic Barbe.  The press-your-luck fantasy game has players take control of a group of adventurers who have stolen a dragon’s treasure and now must avoid the angry dragon and escape the dungeon with the most loot.  The game is for 2-5 players, ages 8 and up.

Armadora is an area control game designed by Christwart Conrad (Medieval Merchant, Vino, many Carassonne expansions).  Players attempt to claim the biggest portion of the dwarven gold mines by claiming territory or dividing existing territories in two.  When the game ends, the player with the highest strength in each territory win the gold for that area.  The game is for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up.

Wakanda is a two-player totem pole building game designed by Charles Chevallier (Masques, Cappuccino).  The goal is to build and claim the totem poles worth the most points by the end of the game.  Claimed totems will only score points of the corresponding village tiles are claimed as well.  The game is for 2 players, ages 8 and up.

Sushi Draft is a fast card game where players compete to each the sushi worth the most points.  Over three rounds, players draft cards containing sushi worth various points, hoping to collect the most of one type of sushi to win the corresponding scoring chip.  The goal is to have a varied menu of different sushi types, to win the coveted Dessert chip.  The game is for 3-5 players, ages 8 and up.

Attila is a fast and light two-player strategy designed by Bruno Faidutti (Queen’s Necklace, Mascarade, Citadels).  Players move their pieces like knights in chess, but the goal is not to capture the opponent, but trap their pieces with no moves remaining.  The game is for 2 players, ages 7 and up.

Additional new games include the strategy game Crab Stack and the party game Wink.

Existing titles that will be included in the new line include Francesco Rotta’s Battle Sheep, Seiji Kanai’s BraveRats, Thierry Denoual’s Gobblet, and Bruno Cathala’s Niya and Longhorn.
