At the GAMA Trade Show, new company Pulposaurus Entertainment was previewing its Conan: Rise of the Monsters miniatures skirmish game.

Pulposaurus was formed by industry veterans Shane Hensley, President of Pinnacle Entertainment Group; George Vasilakos, President and Art Director of Eden Studios; Jack Emmert, CEO of Cryptic Studios; and Timothy Brown, current Brand Manger for Pinnacle Entertainment Group and designer of Dark Sun.

Conan: Rise of Monsters will include 28mm plastic pre-painted miniatures, including special Conan and Thoth-Amon sculpts conceived by well-known illustrator Adrian Smith (Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, Magic The Gathering).

The two main starter sets, Conan's Circle of Iron and Thoth-Amon's Legion of Set, will be supplemented with separate warbands, leaders and monsters. Tentative MSRP is $99.99 on both starters.

The game will be funded by a Kickstarter campaign planned to begin in July.  Pulposaurus promises a "retailer friendly Kickstarter with maximum shelf appeal."  Trade release is planned for Q1 2016.
