Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s Image series Jupiter’s Legacy is headed to Hollywood, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Millar is partnering again with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who is currently adapting Millar’s MPH (see "Millar's 'MPH' Optioned for the Big Screen"). Di Bonaventura's oeuvre includes several Transformers and G.I. Joe films as well as the adaptation of Warren Ellis's Red.
The multi-generational superhero drama sold extremely well (see "An Image #1 Tops 100K"), and the product flow continues. The Jupiter’s Legacy Vol. 1 trade paperback released today, and the first issue of the prequel miniseries, Jupiter’s Circle, drawn by Wilfredo Torres, also launches today.
According to THR, meetings are underway to find a writer for the adaptation.
