BOOM! Studios will release Peanuts: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz, a hardcover collection of contributions from over 25 comic strip, webcomic, and comic book artists, this October. The 112-page volume, published to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Peanuts, will include contributions from Matt Groening (Simpsons), Raina Telgemeier (Sisters), Patrick McDonnell (Mutts), Megan Brennan (Adventure Time), Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo), Jeff Lemire (Sweet Tooth), Jen Wang (In Real Life). Each contribution will consist of a piece of "off-model" Peanuts art and a short essay.
The new hardcover is timely; a Peanuts film is due out November 6 (see "Best in Shows--Q4 2015").
