Dust Studios posted a new letter online indicating that an agreement may have been reached with Battlefront Miniatures to ship the second wave of Dust: Operation Babylon product to Kickstarter backers.
The public disagreement between Dust Studios and Battlefront Miniatures over the alternate-history WWII miniatures game line they partnered to produce reached a boiling point last week, with Dust Studios declaring the business relationship "officially ented." Battlefront responded by releasing a 3,800 word response to Kickstarter backers detailing the project situation from its perspective point by point (see "'Dust: Operation Babylon' Feud Hits Breaking Point").
The Dust Studio Team letter, addressed to campaign backers, states "We received an email from Battlefront yesterday: they said they would check the production list and issue a purchase order on Monday."
"Dust Studio will provide Battlefront with a packing list and an invoice by next week. The items are ready and will be shipped to you within one week upon reception of the payment and shipping instructions."
"…You should expect the next update as soon as we receive the full payment – we will make sure to keep you informed with the latest developments on a regular basis."
