Heroes Reborn, which is due next fall from NBC, is the sequel to the 2006-2010 Heroes series and features the return of many of the original cast members including Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka (see “Geek TV Round-Up”) along with some new characters, one of whom will be the subject of the 5-issue Titan Comics Heroes Reborn series, which will debut in October along with the Heroes Reborn TV series.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Titan Publishing’s Director Chris Teather characterized the Heroes Reborn comics as “bonus episodes of the TV series.” Craley wrote some of the Webcomics that accompanied the original 2006-2010 Heroes (and which were collected into graphic novels published by DC Comics), so there should be plenty of behind-the-scenes continuity and close coordination between the TV series and its comic book spin-off.
