R&R Games plans to release a quartet of family-friendly card games this summer.

Gobblestones reveals that the favorite treat of little goblins is actually stones.  In this tile-laying game, players try to collect the most valuable stones.  At the end of the game, the fattest goblin is declared the winner. The game is for 2 - 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in about 30 minutes.  MSRP is $24.95. Release is planned for September.

The flash-card-like Flipping Flags is designed to help teach kids how to identify the flags of the world, by matching flags and countries. The game is for 2 - 5 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in about an hour.  MSRP is $9.95. Release is planned for July.

In Panda Head, players collect tricks of cards featuring cute little pandas wearing a variety of costumes, while trying to avoid getting points.  Points, apparently, make pandas tired, and a “Pooped Panda” won’t win the game. The game is for 2 - 5 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in about 20 minutes.  MSRP is $11.95. The game releases at Gen Con.

Another take on the matching card game, Face Chase challenges players to match their face cards to the faces on the board quickly, by combining facial features.  The winner is the first player to get rid of all their cards. The game is for 2-5 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in about 10 minutes.  MSRP is $14.95. The game releases in August.

The new card games will lead into R&R’s planned release of two big box board games in October (see “Two Big Box Euro-Games From R&R Games”).
