Wyrd Miniatures, best known for its Malifaux table-top miniatures game, has announced a cooperative fantasy board game designed by veteran game designer Kevin Wilson (Arkham Horror, Descent: Journeys in the Dark). The all-new game, called Darkness Comes Rattling, is scheduled to release in September.

In the game, the serpent-like Darkness swallows the sun, throwing the world into a permanent night. In order to survive, the "Tribes of Man" must work together to free the world from this darkness and corruption. The players assume the roles of champions of these tribes, exploring the world and overcoming various challenges in their quest. The setting is all new and completely separate from Wyrd’s other IPs.
Darkness Comes Rattling will be a fully cooperative game for 2 -6 players. MSRP is $65.
