Early reports peg sales for the debut issue of Invincible Iron Man #1, in which Tony Stark dons yet another new suit and tries to solve a major mystery from his past, at over 200,000 copies, so the incentive for a second, related Iron Man comic is high. Of course Bendis has written two related series several times during his career, most notably when he doing the Avengers and New Avengers, and then again when he did Uncanny X-Men and All-New X-Men. So the pattern is there, though it remains to be seen if Bendis will write a second Iron Man title in addition to the October-debuting Invincible Iron Man where he is teamed with Ultimate Spider-Man artist David Marquez.
