Bandai America has named Diamond Comic Distributors a master distributor for its products, which makes Diamond the preferred distributor for Bandai America to "select retailers" in the U.S., the company announced.  Diamond will distribute Bandai America products to toy, hobby, and specialty retailers, according to the announcement.

Bandai America produces toys featuring Power Rangers, Big Hero 6, and Godzilla, SpruKits, and Japanese hobby and collector lines.

The new deal between Diamond and Bandai America will not affect Bluefin Distribution’s distribution of collectibles on behalf of Bandai Japan, according to Bluefin president John Parker.
