451 Media Group, a new company formed by Transformers director Michael Bay with John and Anthony Gentile, who created Micronauts, Sky Dancers, and Visionaries, among other brands, will debut graphic novels from its new line at New York Comic Con in October, according to Variety.  The graphic novels will use “Touchcode” technology from T+ink, to allow readers access to exclusive content on their touch-screen-enabled devices.  A sneak peak of the content will be made available on Machinima.

Writers for the graphic novels have a variety of film and television credits, including Scott Rosenberg (High Fidelity), Skip Woods (Wolverine), George Pelecanos (The Wire), Mark Mallouk (Black Mass), Clay McLeod Chapman (The Avengers) and vfx experts (Avatar, The Avengers) Peter and Paul Williams.

451 Media Group raised funding from China’s Guangdong Alpha Animation and Culture Co. earlier this year, according to The Wrap, in a deal which will exploit Alpha Animation’s reach in mobile, entertainment, media, and toy distribution in China and other Asian markets.
