Marvel will launch Weirdworld, an All-New, All-Different ongoing series, in December. The new series will be written by Sam Humphries (Legendary Star–Lord), with art and covers by Mike Del Mundo.

Weirdworld #1 will introduce Becca, an ordinary girl who suddenly finds herself in a polyglot world of fantasy, horror, and science fiction, with no idea why she is there. To survive, she’ll band together with a backwoods wizard, a female barbarian warrior who drives a muscle car, and Catbeast in the hope of finding her way back to Earth. 

The magical dimension of Weirdworld was originally created by Doug Moench and Mike Ploog in the 1970s. Marvel revived the sword-and-sorcery setting for a Secret Wars storyline this summer,  and in July, announced another series, Black Knight, which will also be set in Weirdworld, launching in November (see “ Marvel's 'Black Knight' Returns in a New Setting”).
