Steve Jackson Games has shared details on its “Show Me The Munchkin” retailer display contest, launched earlier this month, by which retailers can win the chance to appear in a SJG ad.

Any retail store that is in Steve Jackson’s Store Finder can enter the contest by sharing pictures of their Munchkin display on Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #ShowMeTheMunchkin in September, October, and November.  Each month, the SJG staff will choose one winner from all the stores that submitted pictures. 

The winning store each month will be mentioned in SJG ads run in Marvel and DC comics, and will receive a prize package of SJG merchandise worth at least $1500 retail value. The games will be taken from across the company’s game lines, including titles like Munchkin, GURPS, Castellan, Zombie Dice, and Ogre: Designers Edition. The package will not include more than 4 - 6 of any one specific game.

As for what SJG is looking for in entries, Steve Jackson Games Marketing Director Brian Engard told ICv2 “[W]e want store owners to make their Steve Jackson Games displays as beautiful and appealing as possible.  Have fun with it!  Get creative.  We’re looking for displays that wow us, that make us sit back in our chairs and say, ‘Now that’s a good display.’”
