Tamashii Nations is adding new figures to its Star Wars Meisho Movie Realization line, which reimages Empire characters as feudal-style Japanese warriors. The figures are distributed in North America by Bluefin Distribution.
The highly articulated 7” line of figures launched with the Meisho Movie Realization Samurai General “Taisho” Darth Vader ($92.99) and “Ashigaru” Stormtrooper ($81.99), and now the collection will add Boba Fett, a Sandtrooper, a Royal Guard and a new Darth Vader to the collection, beginning in December. The detailed figures have up to 15 points of articulation, and include several weapons and other accessories.
The “Ronin” Boba Fett ($89.99) will arrive in December. The bounty hunter is re-imagined as a lord-less ronin samurai, and includes a flint-lock style blaster in place of his EE-3 rifle, a backpack missile, movable helmet mounted scope, a ninja-style katana and sheath, and numerous blade accessories.

This new version of the Sith Lord is modeled on a Death Star motif, which includes a Death Star-style crest on his helmet, and highly detailed chest plate. The figure includes interchangeable hands, guns, and two katana swords (light saber and regular).
The “Teppou Ashigaru” Sandtrooper ($89.99) is planned for March release. The figure comes with two gun power type rifles, a katana sword, a backpack, and three sets of interchangeable hands.
