Steve Jackson Games has announced its next two Munchkin Guest Artist Editions will be illustrated by Art Baltazar and Katie Cook.

Katie Cook is best-known as writer on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic, but is also known for her Star Wars artwork, and her webcomic Gronk.  Cook will bring a dose of adorable on Munchkin Cthulhu Guest Artist Edition in June.  She has also illustrated Munchkin Love Shark Baby and Munchkin Kittens  (see “ Christmas, Kittens, Cosmic Demo Pack”).  The box contains 168 cards, 12 player standees with plastic stands, game board, rule sheet, and a six-sided die. MSRP is $29.95.

Art Baltazar won an Eisner Award for Best Publication for Kids in 2011 for Tiny Titans.  He has also co-produced the series Superman Family Adventures with Franco Aureliani.  Now Baltazar will lend his brand of super-cute superhero art to Super Munchkin Guest Artist Edition, releasing in August. The box contains 168 cards, 12 player standees with plastic stands, game board, rule sheet, and a six-sided die. MSRP is $29.95.
