IDW Publishing announced a new serialized version of Troy Little’s Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas launching in May.

The original graphic novel was released last fall by IDW’s Top Shelf imprint (see “Hunter S. Thompson's Gonzo Journalism Epic Gets OGN”). Now IDW’s “Great White Whale” edition comic book miniseries will feature Little's original black and-white artwork for the main story as well as other bonus features including pages from Little’s sketchbook.

The first 48-page issue will be available with multiple covers, including new artwork by Little and Jim Mahfood and a blank sketch variant. The first issue launches on May 18.
