Alderac Entertainment Group announced two new games and additional details on a third at the GAMA Trade Show.

Smash Up: Cease and Desist adds four new factions to the popular shuffle-building game, which do not (legally) resemble characters from popular movies and TV shows. The four factions include Star Roamers, Astroknights, Changerbots, and Ignobles.

The game is for 2 players (4 with the base game), ages 12 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. MSRP was not announced. Release is planned for September.

Fantahzee: Hordes and Heroes  is a card and dice game where players try to defend their town from a swarm of invading monsters. Players recruit heroes and roll dice to activate the heroes’ powers on the battlefield. If plyers fail in their rolls, the invading monsters will advance and destroy buildings in the town. Lose too many times and the town will be destroyed.

The game is for 2 -5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 40 minutes.  Release is planned for September. MSRP was not announced.

Mystic Vale  was announced earlier this month (see “'Mystic Vale' Card Game”). The game introduces a new card-building mechanic, where players craft custom cards by adding new advancements that layer into the sleeved cards to produce advancements and new effects in a single card. Players are trying to halt the decay of their land with healing and restorative spells. Score the most victory points to win.

The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 14-and up, and plays in 45 minutes. MSRP is $39.99. Release is planned for June.
