Eagle-Gryphon Games is offering an Official 2016 Tournament Kit to support its new robotic baseball game Baseball Highlights: 2045, timed to correspond to the opening of this year’s baseball season.

Baseball Highlights:  2045 is a fast-paced card game set in a future world of robotic batters and cybernetic-enhanced pitchers.  Rather than attempting to create a play-by-play baseball simulation, the game uses an abstract mechanism for resolving the games over a course of a season.  Players must strategically build their team between games in their quest to win the championship.  The game was created by designer Mike Fitzgerald (Mystery Rummy, Wyatt Earp).

To help support the game, which released last year, Eagle-Gryphon has created the Official 2016 Tournament Kit as an organized play program.  Participating retailers can order the kits, which include an exclusive player mat for in-store demos, a poster, a window cling, new Starter Teams for the participants, a tournament bracket sheet, and a player mat for the tournament winner.

The new kits will be available in time for opening day of the 2016 MLB season.
