Artana LLC, publisher of Tesla vs Edison, has announced Corrupted Kingdoms, a game about corrupt politics in an idyllic fantasy kingdom, with a release expected in the Q4.

In Corrupted Kingdoms, players are corporations run by monsters and working behind the scenes of a fantasy kingdom to take over the noble government and twist it towards their own ends.  Players employ all kinds of dirty tricks to pressure the kingdom’s leaders, control the vote, and pass laws to benefit themselves, at the expense of the kingdom.

The game was designed by Raymond Chandler III (his first published design) and Dirk Knemeyer (Tesla vs Edison, The New Science).  It is intended for 2 to 6 players, and plays in less than an hour.  Corrupted Kingdoms comes with 6 player mats, 3 kingdom boards, 2 senate boards, 59 cards, and 214 tokens.  MSRP is $40.00.

The production of Corrupted Kingdoms was funding through a successful Kickstarter campaign that attracted $26,044 in pledged support from 575 backers (an average of $45.29 each).

Artana recently announced an expansion for Tesla vs Edison called Powering Up! (see “‘Tesla vs. Edison-Powering Up’”), also scheduled for late this year.
