Global cybercelebrity Hatsune Miku is not shy about sharing her likeness.  Her face has graced trading cards, manga, clothing, and action figures; and with her North American tour kicking off this weekend, another round of merchandise has been unveiled.

UltraPRO will be releasing the new Megane Collection Deck Protector Sleeves, which will feature Miku and her friends Luka and Rin. (Megane means "glasses" in Japanese.)  The sleeves are available now. MSRP is $4.99 for packs of 50 sleeves.

Dark Horse Comics has announced a new manga collection, a follow-up to their top-selling Unofficial Hatsune Mix (see "Interview with the Dark Horse Manga Brain Trust, Part 1").  The new volume of Miku stories is titled Hatsune Miku: Mikubon, and it is written by Ontama, a duo combining the pen names of music producer Otomania and artist Tamago. In 2007, Ontama created the original hit music video to use Miku, "Ievan Polkka," which rocketed her to super-star status on YouTube.  Now they write the new adventures of the synthetic superstar. Release is planned for October 5.  MSRP is $10.99.

Enterplay will be releasing trading cards and dog tags featuring Miku and friends in June (see "New 'Legend of Zelda,' 'Super Mario Bros.,' 'Hatsune Miku' Merch").

Hatsune Miku Expo 2016 kicks off in Seattle, WA on April 23.
