Candlewick Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House, will release the new licensed Dungeonology book on November 2.
Written by Matt Forbeck, the story gives a guided tour of Dungeons & Dragons’ Forgotten Realms by a wizard named Elminster. The book will detail sites including dreaming spires of Waterdeep and the frozen majesty of Drizzt Do’Urden’s Icewind Dale, where readers will be introduced to history, secrets, and wonders of the realms.
The 30-page, 9 3/4" x 11 13/16” hardcover has an MSRP of $24.99.
Another Penguin Random House imprint, Templar Books, is also releasing a licensed coloring book featuring Dungeons & Dragons illustrations. Monsters and Heroes of the Realms: A Dungeons & Dragons Coloring Book will release on September 6.
The 96-page book includes illustrations from the pages of the official D&D manuals. It includes never-before-seen artwork and 16 pages of inspirational full-color pages. MSRP is $14.99.
