DC Entertainment announced the promotion of Dan Evans III to VP Creative Affairs. Evans will report directly to Geoff Johns, DC Chief Creative Officer.

In his new position, Evans will handle and review creative content for all DC media that are in production with Warner Brothers, including film, TV, animation and games.  Evan’s focus will be to ensure DC charter use and stories remain true to core values of their franchises.  

In his previous positon, Evan oversaw the Warner Bros. TV slate of DC programs, including Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Gotham and Lucifer among others. Prior to his work at DC, Evans was Director of Development, Animation at Marvel Studios, and has a background with Nickelodeon Animation Studios and Stoopid Monkey productions. He also created and co-wrote Image Comics’ Texas Strangers comic series.
