Goodman Games will release Mutant Crawl Classics, a post-apocalyptic roleplaying game grounded in a classic 1970s sci-fi gaming experience.
Mutant Crawl Classics is a stand-alone tabletop roleplaying game written by Jim Wampler, based on modern interpretations of the original Dungeons & Dragons inspirational settings like Gamma World, Metamorphosis Alpha and Dungeon Crawl Classics. MCC is designed to be a stand-alone game, and includes all the basic rules needed to play.
The book includes a guide to the game including information on the setting, character creation, character classes, mutations, artifacts, patron A.I.'s, and more. It will also include a 13-page level 0 adventure, The Museum at the End of Time.
Goodman Games is funding the project through Kickstarter, where it has raised $58,315 from 1,018 backers as of this writing ($57.28 / backer average) with 20 days to go. A retailer backer level is available for $140 or more. The full-color hardcover book can be had for a $40.00 pledge. Fulfillment is planned for August 2017.
