DC Entertainment will launch a comic miniseries sequel to the 1987 film The Lost Boys under its Vertigo imprint on October 12, the company announced. The series will be written by Tim Seeley (Grayson, Nightwing), with art by Scott Godlewski and Patricia Mulvihill (The Dark & Bloody), with covers by Tony Harris.
The sequel story will feature the surviving characters from the film in Santa Carla, California. Brothers Michael and Sam Emerson, who experienced a violent and bizarre housewarming as newcomers, team up again with vampire hunters Edgar and Allen Frog against the Blood Belles, who come to collect Michael’s love interest and their lost sister, Star.
