The hunt for the notorious serial murderer in Letters from Whitechapel heats up with Fantasy Flight Games’ release of the Dear Boss Expansion in Q4.

Inspired by the infamous letters supposedly sent to the police of Whitechapel by the notorious Jack the Ripper, this new expansion includes three new modular decks of cards that can inserted into the game to adjust the balance between the murderous Jack and the policemen out to catch him.  A guide on how to use the new variant cards is also included.

Like the original game, Dear Boss features historical notes and details to provide historical context for the players, including details about the policemen, suspects, and victims.  Rounding out the expansion is a set of 12 plastic miniatures, designed to replace the pawns from the basic game and make the game more visually appealing.

Fantasy Flight released its revised version of Letters from Whitechapel in 2013 (see “‘Letters from Whitechapel’ Board Game”).
