The C21 Media site is reporting that famed puppet-meister Gerry Anderson is involved to varying degrees with a number of new projects based on his venerable 'supermarionation' properties.  Just as a $60 million live action feature version of Anderson's Thunderbirds approaches completion (see 'Thunderbirds Headed For The Big Screen'), Carlton Productions has announced that it is developing a new 26-episode computer-generated Thunderbirds series, which will debut in early 2005.

In addition to the new Thunderbirds series, both Disney and Dreamworks are interested in remaking Anderson's Joe 90 series as a CGI animated program.  The success of the Spy Kids movies has made Joe 90 a hot property.  Anderson himself recently put together a deal which will allow him to produce 26 new episodes of Captain Scarlet -- The Return of the Mysterons through his Gerry Anderson Productions.
