Dark Horse this week announced a hardcover reissue of Dork and a softcover collection of Calla Cthulhu from creative team Evan Dorkin and Sarah Dyer.

Dorkin is known for his work on Milk and Cheese and the Eisner Award-winning series Beasts of Burden. Dyer launched the ongoing female comics anthology Action Girl Comics. The pair have collaborated on several comics projects and written for TV shows such as Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Calla Cthulhu, inspired by HP Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos and originally released on subscription-based digital comics app Stela, follows the adventures of a teenage girl descended from the Great Old Ones as she battles supernatural threats. The series was co-created with Erin Humiston (pencils), Mario A. Gonzalez (inks), and Bill Mudron (colors).

Dork collects material from issues #1–11 of Dorkin’s award-winning humor anthology of the same name alongside odds and ends from other publications.

The Calla Cthulhu trade paperback will be available August 16, 2017. Dork will be released in late 2017.
