New York Comic Con News: Netflix has announced that the second season of Dreamworks’ Voltron: Legendary Defender will be available for streaming starting on January 20, 2017.  Season 2, which takes up where Season 1 ended, with the Voltron team scattered across the universe, was announced at Comic-Con (see “Geek TV Comic-Con Round-Up”), and an image from Season 2, which shows Lance with Hunk’s Lion, was unveiled at the NYCC along with a teaser trailer (see below).

Meanwhile Nerdist has an exclusive look at the new Voltron toyline from Playmates that includes a basic figure line at $9.99, plus combining Lions (regular $17.99, electronic $29.99), and a super posable 14” Voltron for $39.99.  Check out the Gallery below for some pictures of the new Playmates Voltron toys.
