In Dice Forge, players compete to become demigods by undertaking heroic deeds and earning glory. To accomplish these deeds, each player has their own set of customizable dice, which have removable faces that can be changed during the course of the game. New dice faces can be earned for completing some deeds, or purchased from the limited supplies available in the Temple. By strategically changing their dice during the game, players can face more challenging deeds. Dice Forge was designed by Regis Bonnessee (Seasons, Himalaya). The game includes a temple board designed to fit over the box bottom, an island board, 4 hero boards, 4 hero pawns, 96 cards, 8 dice with 108 interchangeable faces, 20 resource markers, and 25 tokens. It is designed for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in about 40 minutes. MSRP is $39.99.This spring, Asmodee will also bring a room escape style puzzle game (see “ ‘Escape Room’-style Puzzles from Space Cowboys”) to the U.S.
