The first season of Big Hero 6 The Series hasn’t even debuted yet, but Disney is betting big: a second season has already been ordered reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The first season of Big Hero 6 will debut on Disney XD this fall (see "'Big Hero 6' Teaser"). It picks up directly after the events of the Oscar Award-winning film, and most of the voice cast from the movie, including Jamie Chung, Maya Rudolph, Alan Tudyk, and even Stan Lee, are set to return in the series (see "'The Defenders,' 'Cloak & Dagger,' 'Big Hero 6'").
The digital streaming platform has taken a similar supportive stance with the DuckTales reboot, which also got a renewal order before the first season kicks off this summer (see "First-Look Video For 'DuckTales' Reboot").
This week, Disney XD posted a new promo video for the series on YouTube featuring Stan "The Man" Lee and much of the voice cast. Check it out below.
