More details about Brotherwise Games’ “dice placement” game Unearth have been shared by the company, including plans for a promotion to help launch the new product in stores.  Brotherwise will release the game on August 17.

Announced last month (see “Brotherwise Plans ‘Unearth’”), Unearth pits teams of “delvers,” represented by dice, who explore the ruins of a lost civilization in search of mystic stones so they can rebuild the wonders of the past.

The game will include 85 cards, 91 tokens, 20 dice, 4 player aids, a cloth storage bag, and a plastic tray sized for sleeved cards.  The game is intended for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in under an hour.  MSRP is $34.95.

Brotherwise is offering a free demo game and demo kit to brick-and-mortar stores who preorder five copies of Unearth.  The demo kit comes with a counter stand, and eight “End of Age” promo cards.
