Dynamite released new details on IanFlemming.com. Dynamite and Creative Consultant Mike Lake (co-founder of Forbidden Planet) are working with creative talent to chart Bond’s life from school age to spy.  The series is based on a general description Ian Fleming wrote in a fictional obituary for Bond in You Only Live Twice: before joining the Secret Intelligence Service, Bond entered the Ministry of Defense in 1941, serving in the Special Branch of the RNVR during World War II.

The series will launch in the fall.

Dynamite also recently announced James Bond – Kill Chain, a new Bond adventure launching in July (see “'Centipede,' James Bond, The Avenger, Green Hornet”).
