CMON Limited announced an end to the distribution partnership with French company Ankama Products, producer of Krosmaster and other game titles.
The final product to be released under the current deal will be Gang Rush: Breakout on June 23 (see "Mafia Races, Gnome Gangs, and Crime Scene Investigations"). CMON released Ankama products including Krosmaster: Quest, Krosmaster Arena 2.0, Krosmaster Collection: Cemetery Park, and 75 Gnom’ Street to U.S. audiences in the last year. CMON will continue to sell remaining stock of these Ankama products as well as providing customer support for those games while supplies last.
Ankama Products will announce its next distribution partner soon.
CMON and Ankama entered into the partnership last year, after the French publisher ended its distribution deal in the U.S. with Japanime Games (see "'Krosmaster' Moves to CMON in 2016").
