NBM has revealed a diverse graphic novel slate for fall and winter.

T.J. Kirsch explores the trauma of familial abuse and the path to redemption in Pride of the Decent Man.  The 96-page, full-color hardcover will be out in September at an MSRP of $19.99.

In September, NBM will release a new edition of Miguelanxo Prado’s Eisner- and Harvey-nominated Streak of Chalk.  A multi-faceted mystery tale from one of Spain’s most celebrated comics creators, the 88-page, full-color hardcover has an MSRP of $19.99.

In October, writer Salva Rubio and artist Efa explore the life of one of France’s greatest Impressionist painters in Monet: Itinerant of Light.  The 112-page, full-color hardcover has an MSRP of $24.99.

The Mercenary: The Definitive Editions Volume 1: The Cult of the Sacred Fire reprints the bestselling painted fantasy series from Vicente Segrelles.  Featuring all-new scans of the original paintings, the 64-page, full-color hardcover will be in stores in October.  MSRP is $17.99.

Kerascoet and Fabien Vehlmann’s Satania follows Charlie as she searches for her brother, a scientist who disappeared during his expedition to prove the existence of Hell.  The 128-page, full-color hardcover will be in stores in November.  MSRP is $24.99.

Kerascoet Set collects two works by the duo Kerascoet: Beauty, a fairy tale about destiny, and Miss Don’t Touch Me, a murder mystery.  The 344-page, two-volume set will be in stores in November at an MSRP of $55.

A Treasury of Victorian Murder Compendium I collects three volumes of Rick Geary’s beloved murder series: Jack the Ripper, The Beast of Chicago, and The Fatal Bullet.  The 288-page, black-and-white trade paperback will be in stores in December.  MSRP is $19.99.

In December, Cyril Pedro’s explores spiritual renewal and artistic ennui in the graphic novel Portugal.  A translation of Pedrosa’s bestseller, which sold more than 100,000 copies in France and won Best Graphic Novel at Angouleme, the 264-page, full-color hardcover will be in stores in December at an MSRP of $39.99.

Looking ahead to 2018, March will see the release of the paperback edition of The Initiates from Etienne Davadeau.  A sell-out in hardcover, the graphic novel follows a graphic novelist and winemaker who each dive into the other’s world.  The 272-page black-and-white trade paperback has an MSRP of $19.99.

Also in March, Rick Geary tells The True Death of Billy the Kid.  The 56-page, black-and-white hardcover has an MSRP of $15.99.

These releases come on the heels of NBM’s busy summer slate, which includes biographies of Billie Holiday and Jean-Paul Sartre (see "NBM's Summer Slate").
