DC is organizing a midnight release party for the launch of Dark Nights: Metal #1 on August 16.

Participating retailers will be eligible to order an exclusive Dark Nights: Metal #1 Midnight Release Variant by Greg Capullo, as well as be offered a 1:100 incentive cover in black and white of the Greg Capullo cover for every 100 copies of Dark Nights: Metal #1 ordered.  DC will also provide bundles of the Dark Nights: Metal Lithograph featuring Capullo’s art and a cake topper art piece. Participating retailers will also be allowed to sell that week’s DC titles at the party. Final order cut-off for the parties is July 10.

The new miniseries by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo launches in August (see “'Dark Nights' for Batman”) and will be accompanied by several tie-ins (see “Evil Batmans Invade DC's 'Dark Nights: Metal'” and “DC 'Dark Knights' Introduces 'Dark Matter'”).
