San Diego Comic-Con News: AMC has released its Comic-Con poster for The Walking Dead, which in addition to setting the tone for the cable hit’s eighth season also reveals the date of the premiere, which also happens to be TWD’s 100th episode (production on Season 8 was interrupted by a tragic accident—see "'The Walking Dead' Halts Production").  The new season kicks off on October 22, 2017.

In addition AMC released a poster for Fear the Walking Dead, the spin-off series that debuted in 2015 was recently renewed for a fourth season.
