Trapped princesses rescue themselves in Breaking Games’ new family-friendly set collection card game Sparkle*Kitty, releasing on August 15.
In Sparkle*Kitty, an evil queen with the same name has trapped a group of magical princesses in her ensorcelled towers, which prevent the princesses from using their powerful curses. Rather than wait for some prince, the princesses proceed to bust out on their own, using magical spells taken from the towers they are trapped in.
The game is played using cards with magic words, colors, and symbols. Players match cards to the spell book to get them out of their hand. Once their hand is empty, the players can start removing cards from their tower. The first princess to remove all of the cards from their tower wins the game.
Sparkle*Kitty is the first published design by Manny Vega. The game can be played by 3 to 8 players, ages 6 and up, and takes about 15 minutes to play. MSRP is $20.00.
Breaking Game also recently announced plans to produce a stone age civilization building game called Rise of Tribes (see "Stone Age Strategy in 'Rise of Tribes'").
