Dark Horse Comics has unveiled the third installment in the Moebius Library with the announcement of Inside Moebius Part One

Originally published in French and Spanish between 2004 - 2010 in long out of print and highly sought after editions, Inside Moebius is Jean Giraud’s most autobiographical work and a direct follow up to his 40 Days in the Desert.  Bending fiction, Giraud encounters all of his major characters, including Arzak, Blueberry, Stel and Atan, and the Major, as well as a younger Moebius in this expansive, six volume work.

Moebius Production in France released all six volumes in Tout Inside Moebius in 2016, a limited edition that included a Moebius sketchbook.  Dark Horse is the first publisher to bring Inside Moebius to English-language audiences and Inside Moebius Part One will contain the first two original volumes of the six-part work.  Dark Horse has also revealed that it will publish all three collections in 2018.  It is unclear, however, if the English edition will include all the biographical material included in the Tout edition, including commentary by Moebius, Isabelle, and Moebius Production, along with the sketchbook.

Inside Moebius Part One will be available on February 7, 2018.  This follows the December 20, 2017 release of Moebius Library: The Art of Edena, the second title in the five-part Moebius library.  Originally, Dark Horse had announced a six-part library; however, the planned Art of Moebius seems to be absent from the initial 2016 debut.
