Variety reports that a live-action television series based on the space-age Hanna-Barbera cartoon scored a pilot order from ABC (see "Live-Action 'Jetsons' Coming to TV?).
Robert Zemeckis and will executive produce, along with Compari Entertainment’s Jack Rapke and Jackie Levine. Gary Janetti (Family Guy, Will & Grace) will write and executive produce. Warner Bros. Television will produce with Compari and Nickelby Inc.
The Jetsons are coming to comics this fall in a new six-issue miniseries from DC Comics (see "'The Jetsons' Make Comics Space Age"). Warner Bros. is also developing an animated feature film with Sausage Party co-director Conrad Vernon (see "'The Jetsons' Movie Takes Off").
