Marvel Entertainment tweeted a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Netflix spin-off series Marvel’s The Punisher, which will debut later this year.

Promotion has been quiet for the series since last year’s casting announcements (see “Marvel's 'The Punisher' Expands Its Cast”), withFrank Castle (Jon Bernthal)  gracefully stepping back to let The Defenders team-up series have its day (see “New 'Defenders' Trailer”). Eagle-eyed viewers who watched The Defenders to the end of the credits were treated to an ominous soliloquy in the last minute of video (which was later posted on YouTube – see below).

Netflix has not announced when the series will debut, beyond “2017.”
