The first annual ESSENtial Retailer Summit will be held at the Internationale Spieltage (commonly known as Spiel) in Essen, Germany. The event will be held on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This retailer-only event is being sponsored by a half-dozen of the larger game publishers, including WizKids, Games Workshop, Alderac Entertainment Group, Renegade Games, Iello, and CMON. Each sponsor will give a short presentation, with information about upcoming product plans, European distribution, and new licenses.
The ESSENtial Retailer Summit 2017 will be held in the Rheinland Room at the Messe Essen convention center in Essen, Germany.
The Internationale Spieltage is the premier gaming event in Germany, and is one of the largest game conventions held anywhere in the world. In 2016, the show attracted 174,000 visitors and showcased 1,021 exhibitors from 50 different countries. The Spiel ’17 has expanded to cover 72,000 square meters of exhibit space and is expecting 1,100 exhibitors. The show will run from October 26 to 29.
