British publisher River Horse has unveiled a new sourcebook for its My Little Pony - Tails of Equestria Roleplaying Game detailing characters, locations and stories from My Little Pony: The Movie.
My Little Pony: The Movie opened in theaters earlier this month (see "Best in Shows--Q4 2017") and has grossed more than $27 million worldwide. The book includes new non-pony characters (Cats, Parrots, Hippogriffs, Lizardfolk), new locations (Klugetown, the citadel at Mount Aris, and Seaquestria) and expanded rules. There is also a new adventure The Beasts of Black Skull Island and new non-player characters from the movie.
River Horse plans to release the new sourcebook in the U.K. by the end of 2017. Shinobi 7 and Ninja Division handle U.S. distribution for the game, release information and MSRP have not been announced. Shinobi 7 recently released The Bestiary of Equestria, and plans to release The Festival of Lights: Adventure Expansion next month (see "New Adventures and Beasts for Equestria").
