With Oversized Special Issue

Peter Parker will celebrate 300 issues with an oversized spectacular. Guest starring Black Panther, Iron Heart, Hawkeye, Wasp and more, Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #300 clocks in at 56 pages from writer Chip Zdarsky (Howard the Duck, Sex Criminals) and artist Adam Kubert (X-Men, Avengers). Kubert and Marcos Martin (Daredevil, The Private Eye) provide covers for the issue, which is on sale February 28.
Billed as a back-to-basics version of Peter Parker’s webslinger, Zdarksy and Kubert began working on the new ongoing earlier this year (see “Zdarsky and Kubert Take Spider-Man Back to Basics”). Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man is part of Marvel’s Legacy initiative and was renumbered to #297 with the seventh issue on their run, which hit stands this week.
