This marks the third television revival of the seminal sci-fi anthology series. The original aired 1959-1964 and inspired a movie and two television reboots. Since, attempts have been made to revive the property for both the big screen and the small screen (see “New Writer on 'Twilight Zone' Movie”). Dynamite has kept The Twilight Zone alive in comics (see “Preview: 'Twilight Zone / The Shadow' TP”).
Jordon Peele's Take Ordered to Series

CBS All Access has greenlit the Twilight Zone reboot with a series order. Get Out director Jordan Peele has been confirmed to executive produce alongside Simon Kinberg (Legion) and Marco Ramirez (Marvel’s Daredevil) reports Variety. Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon will also executive produce. The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Kinberg’s Genre Films for CBS’s proprietary digital streaming platform. A release date is yet to be announced.
