The cast includes Black Sails alum Toby Stephens as the Robinson family patriarch and indie darling Parker Posey as the nefarious Dr. Smith (see "'Star Trek: Discovery,' 'Vampire Chronicles,' 'Lost in Space,' 'Happy'"). The full trailer offers significantly more action that the teaser, and we get our first good look at Dr. Smith and Robot, the latter of whom may or may not be of extraterrestrial origin (see "'Lost in Space' Teaser and Date Announcement").
