Knight Models is now accepting preorders from retailers and distributors for its eagerly anticipated Harry Potter Miniatures Adventure Game.

According to Knight Models, preorders from retailers and distributors received before June 15 will arrive in time for the Christmas season.  However, they suggest orders be placed soon, because the company may have to cut short the window for preorders if the amount of orders received prior to that date exceeds the total available.

Knight Models had announced plans for a March Kickstarter campaign for the product (see “'Harry Potter Miniatures Adventure Game'”), but opted instead to solicit for direct preorders from customers on its website.  “The change from KS to direct sale was a strategic decision, with the aim to try to reach the maximum number of customers, with the fulfilment guarantee provided by our own channels,” said a statement on Knight Models Harry Potter FAQ.  The company has been offering direct preorders which include exclusive miniatures (Albus Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort, Neville Longbottom, Dobby, Pansy Parkinson, Kreacher).

The Harry Potter Miniatures Adventure Game Core Box includes 13 detailed, ready to paint & assemble resin miniatures (35mm scale): Harry Potter, Hermoine Granger, Ron Weasley, 4 Death Eaters, 1 Acromantula, and 5 Acromantula Swarm.  The tin box includes: 3 double-sided game boards, 9 character cards, 10 potion cards, 10 artifact cards, 40 adventure cards, 20 cardboard tokens, assembly instructions, 20 spell cards, 10 x 2 quest cards, 16 event cards, 6 custom dice, 8 x 30mm plastic bases, campaign deck (25 mission cards, and a rulebook.  MSRP is $120.00.
