The series picks up right after events in the film, following the adventures of Hiro, Baymax, Wasabi, Honey lemon, Go Go and Fried. When not defending the city of San Fransokyo from scientifically enhanced villains, Hiro attends San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, which comes with a whole new set of academic and social challenges.
The first new episodes will premiere on June 9 on Disney XD (see “'Big Hero 6' Animated Series Debuts in June”). IDW Publishing is launching a new comic series on July 25 (see “'Big Hero 6' Will Defend San Fransokyo in New Comics”).
