The first volume of Wonder Woman Earth One was top seller upon release (see “Top 300 Graphic Novels Actual--April 2016”) and maintained solid sales numbers for months. It was also among Barnes & Noble’s best graphic novels of 2016 (see “Vulture, Barnes & Noble Release Best Graphic Novel Lists”). The second volume in the series was announced during a surprise Morrison appearance at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con (see “Grant Morrison Crashes DC Publishers Panel”).
